Album of the Year: Copeland - You Are My Sunshine

As we approach the end of 2008 the time has come to give out my award for album of the year. And the winner is: Copeland - You Are My Sunshine. This was no easy task as three of my other favorite bands, The Classic Crime (The Silver Cord); Anberlin (New Surrender); and Jeremy Camp (Speaking Louder Than Before), also released great new albums.

If you are already a Copeland fan, this album won't disappoint. Their music has progressed nicely through the years; changing enough that its somehow fresh and new, yet maintaining that Copeland sound that you love. If you've never listened to Copeland before, this album is a great place to start.
